Limited supply of AKUA Ink colors and products will be available for studio use. If you have favorite colors, applicators, and mediums, feel free to bring your own.

The following papers are suggested for use with AKUA products. It is not necessary to wet most papers unless you are printing with intaglio plates.

Add drama and mystery with unusual compositions, strong lighting effects and exaggerated contrasts.  Get started or improve your painting skills creating a realistic painting with strong color and impact. Class format is a step-by-step process that incorporates demonstrations of one section of the painting at a time throughout the day.  Photos of the subject matter are provided and every student will be painting the same painting.  The class is interspersed with several demonstrations, then time to paint as instructed.  Each student will receive one-on-one guidance along the way. Diane Morgan is an award-winning artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree

This class will cover the fundamentals of painting the portrait in acrylic.  The instructor will demonstrate the techniques needed to paint a realistic portrait.  Students will follow along as they paint from a photograph.  Students need to have good drawing skills and previous painting experience.  All paint will be supplied by Golden.  Students will need to bring brushes and an 11x14 stretched canvas.   See supply list
